BIRD was founded in Amsterdam in 2025, by two bikers who missed simplicity and a link to nature in cycling apparel. Designs from bigger brands are getting more bold every edition, while we at BIRD feel like inspiration should come from one of the reasons we all love cycling: nature.

BIRD was born not as a brand trying to reinvent the wheel, but as one aiming to do things better. Timeless design, good quality, at a fair price. All our cycling jerseys are fully made from recycled materials, and shipped in recycled packaging. To do our share for the bird’s safety and habitat, we give back 10% of our profits to organizations that protect bird communities in nature.

Cycling puts you right in the middle of nature, and that's where our designs come from: The colours and details you notice along the way. Our first two designs take their striking colours from two types of kingfishers.
